The 3rd-4th Grade Rec Season will include 8 skill sessions and 5 game dates. The skill sessions will be focused on developing the basic fundamentals and habits that are needed to become a MS & HS basketball player. The games will start out as 3 v 3 FIBA and as the weeks move along we will start to focus more on playing in a full court setting using 4 v 4 concepts. As we progress to the 4 v 4 we will work on teaching the players to understand spacing in a full court game. We will also focus on playing in transition and with pace. The hope is to prepare this age for transitioning into a middle school and high school player and playing in the boys program in the future.
