BOYS 5th & 6th Grade Travel Team Tryouts
The Boone Basketball Club is doing tryouts for anyone that is interested in playing on the BOYS 5th and 6th grade Boone Basketball Club travel teams. Your son will go through a one hour basketball skills workout to determine if he will be selected.
We will plan to have one 5th grade travel team and one 6th grade travel team. If we end up with more players we will explore adding a second team for each grade level.
These tryouts are open to anyone interested. First preference will be given to Boone kids/players.
The 5th grade travel team will start practice and games after the Rec Season ends in December. We still encourage all 5th grade boys to register and do the Boone Basketball Club Rec season.
The 6th grade travel team members will start travel practices in November/December but won’t start games until January. We still encourage all 6th grade boys to register and do the Boone Basketball Club Rec season.

Note: There will be a parent meeting following the workout. At this time we will explain the selection process and inform parents when they will be notified if their son makes a team.

Cost: There is no cost to tryout for a Boone Basketball Club travel team.
There will be a cost if your son gets selected to play. That cost will mainly go towards uniform fees and tournament fees. Don’t let cost be an issue from having your son tryout. The basketball club has scholarships available to players who need assistance if they are selected.
