7th & 8th Grade Boys

Date: Sunday, October 5th

Time: 4:00-5:15

Note: There will be a short parent meeting after the tryout to explain the selection process and to inform parents how they will be notified if their son gets selected.

Where?

Boone High School

Your son will go through a one hour and 15 minute basketball skills workout to determine if he will be selected.

We will plan to have one 7th grade travel team and one 8th grade travel team. If we end up with more players we will explore adding a second team for each grade level.

These tryouts are open to anyone interested. First preference will be given to Boone kids/players.

The 7th & 8th Grade Boys Travel Teams will start practice and games in October and will run through the end of December. The season will end at the end of December so that the players can participate in the middle school basketball season after Christmas break.

There is no cost to tryout for a Boone Basketball Club team.

There will be a cost if your son gets selected to play. That cost will mainly go towards uniform fees and tournament fees. Don’t let cost be an issue from having your son tryout. The basketball club has scholarships available to players who need assistance if selected to play on a travel team.
