Basketball is a lifelong passion of mine. When I started coaching in 2005, getting others to love the game became a passion of mine as well. I strive to connect with players & to teach them how the game & being a team player applies to life. My goal is to get them to be active, contributing members of the community, & to care about the rest of it.

Because the rest of it is what really matters.

#therestofitmatters is a hashtag my wife started one year when we had a particularly special group of seniors & our son, 7 at the time, became extra attached to the team. It didn’t matter if these guys won by 20 or got beat by more than that, they walked off the court & greeted our son like he was more important than any game.

I believe culture makes or breaks a team. I believe focusing on the process results in successful outcomes. I believe the rest of it matters.
